Final Cut Pro

Hi, can anyone teach me the basics of FCP? I have looked on YouTube but would prefer an in person / online tutor?

Apple run lots of workshops every day in Apple Stores, though having had a quick check there doesn't seem to be one for Final Cut. It might be worth contacting a store (maybe Regent Street or White City) to see if they have any suggestions.Otherwise I chanced across this.https://www.platformtraining.com/courses/apple-final-cut-pro-introduction/Which might be worth a look.

Hi David, in FCP if you go to Help > Final Cut Pro Help in the top menu, the User  Guide pops up and starts with the basics - can also download a pdf. Maybe start there and see how it goes? ( I’ve been using FCP since the start but never taught it ).

This part of London must be crawling with film and video people who should be able to help, though my wife and I stuck with Avid!Otherwise there are several post-production companies round here who might have some cheap down time in one of their edit suites and be prepared to help, such as EditRush in Ealing or Radiant or West Digital in the Goldhawk Road, or the MetFilmSchool in Ealing Studios might know someone.Then there are the fully blown Final Cut Pro training courses at places like MediaTraining Ltd in London Bridge.
