HATCH MEYHANE

We have lived in Chiswick for over 45 years and have seen restaurants come and go. Recently we read a recommendation for Hatch Meyhane at 4 Chiswick High Road. We have now been five times. The restaurant itself is bright and spotless, the welcome warm, the food great quality and delicious, the portions generous, the price reasonable.We stress we have no personal connection with the owners of this restaurant.

It's Turkish. It has taken over the spot where Kalamari was for years, the Greek restaurant. Turkish food is not overly spicy and it is good for vegetarians, too.

So what type of food do  they specialise in, Patricia? I can't stand curries, the filthy muck.
