A.Smejkal lottery

This is a long shot ... when the lottery very first started I joined a syndicate run by a chap called A. Smejkal. Many years later I have just realised that I am still paying a monthly direct debit to him but have lost his detais and have no way of contacting him. Of course if I simply cancel the DD the syndicate will win the jackpot the next week so before I do that does anybody recognise the name who could perhaps put me back in touch?Many thanks ... CB

Are you seriously saying that after 30 years you have just noticed you are still paying adirect debit. I would suggest you get somoneto look over your financial affairs. Sorry to be on point but that is crazy.

If you have a DD, you must know the recipient bank and, although they won't provide his address, you may be able to persuade them to forward a letter (or maybe an email).  We used to provide this service at NatWest occasionally years ago but, of course, the bank is under no obligation to help.

Yep, that's what worries me!Either that or the syndicate won several years ago and my share is still sitting there.

Are you sure the syndicate hasn't already won the Lottery and he long ago packed his job in, off-buggered with all the loot and is now running even more private lotteries?
