Nothing is wrong with watching some classic comedy and I know James Whale is ill.Surely you find it funny when people say they don't watch TV anymore because it is "too woke".God knows what people like Carl must have thought (if he was alive) when William Shatner's Captain Kirk kissed Nichelle Nichols' Uhura in Star Trek.Or when a woman (Helen Mirren) played a DCI in Prime Suspect.Or the lesbian kiss in Brookside.Mary Whitehouse's letterbox must have been overflowing!

What's so funny about watching some classic comedy? As for James Whale, not that I watch or listen to him, but I do know that he is in his last days in the hospital.You're a funny man, David, as I've pointed out before. Just that on many subjects, you're just not quite up to speed with the goings on and just about one-dimensional in responses. But hey ho, we move on and survive in life.

Agree, Steve T. I don't listen to any radio apart from UK Gold for some decent classic oldies and occasionally Classic FM from my iPhone; neither do I watch mainstream tv as it's too populated with the invasion of wokeness  - just have Version 1, Apple TV for Amazon Prime. Sadly, the days of James Whale on Talksport are long gone.

Well, I agree that the apology, pre-recorded and overlaid on a picture, was pretty poor.He was either forced to apologise against his thinking or he had no balls to do it live on air in person.I think the issue was what the production team did with the clip without even considering the consequences. LBC love putting clips out with grabbing headlines for clicks. His ending after reading out, and indeed implying that Jewish kids in the UK are indoctrinated to hate Arabs, was even worse. My thoughts? If it were against anyone else, he would be taken off the air I have a feeling this may still have legs over a week on
