Kew The Music - OTT security policy

Word of caution for anyone planning to attend Kew The Music - whilst their pre-show blurb clearly stated that large kitchen and bread knives were not permitted, it made no mention about bog-standard metal cutlery knives - which the jumped up "Security" personnel were clearly enjoying confiscating.The world has gone mad...

A friend of mine got caught out in the same way - the Kew the Music web site specifics bread knives and kitchen knives as being forbidden but not other sorts of cutlery. As the whole point for many was to enjoy the music while picnicking, the confiscations probably spoiled a few evenings. Bizarre as you could bring in bottles of wine which could be a much more dangerous potential weapon. https://www.kewthemusic.org/faq

I would think that you could inflict more damage with a fork than a 'bog-standard' cutlery knife.
