Chiswick crime wave

After being robbed several times tescos have been forced to erect a protective screen on the tills ,several shops are locking doors with one customer in at a time it seems there is a crime free for all on the high rd with shop lifting bike theft and car crime and no police presence to be seen chiswick on the slippery slope it seems , Chiswick friends not much help when trying to post about this I’m afraid

There were loads of Officers patrolling Chiswick High Road this afternoon engaging with businesses, residents and some of the ‘characters’ that hang out on the pavement outside Sainsburys Local at Thornton Avenue.

Each of the three Chiswick Wards is covered by a dedicated Safer Neighbourhood Team. Chiswick Gunnersbury has six in its team (1 sergeant, 2 PCs and 3 PCSOs) Chiswick Homefields has four (1 sergeant, 2 PCs and a PCSOs) Chiswick Riverside also has a team of four (1 sergeant, 2 PCs and a PCSOs). All of this information is available on the Metropolitan Police Website.

Indeed, it is shameful that the weak Starmer stabbed Liz Kendall and Rachel Reeves in the back by u-turning on the much needed benefits cuts which could have saved the treasury  £billions and got Britain back to work. How does Starmer live with himself. His back stabbing brought Rachel Reeves to tears today. What a weak excuse for a prime minister. Incredible how many people taking PIP payments from taxpayers have enough money to invest in cash ISAs and Stocks & Shares ISA’s so they don’t have to pay tax on their dividends.

If you pretend to the general population that running a country is just like running your own little household and you need them to tighten their belts as you take away important services and give tax breaks to the better off and business advantages without red tape (safety regulations and risk assessments) to your friends what on earth could go wrong?

Because politicians prefer to say ‘vote for me and you’ll get it for free’ It’s within the DNA of the Welfare State. And if the handouts aren’t enough to satisfy the greed, people turn to crime with impunity.

Given the competing claims for the Government to do this, that and the other, fund the NHS, pay pensioners heating allowance, don't cut disability benefits, recruit more police, build prisons, build homes, support public transport and on and on. The question really has to be who among us would be willing to pay more in tax to fund these things? We simply have to get it through our heads that governments don't have money of their own, they get their funds from us the taxpayers. When will some politician be brutally honest and just say - 'If you want it - then you will have to pay for it' by increased tax?

Closer to home,there was a stabbing that proved to be fatal in Hounslow,just off the high street, in broad daylight 3 days ago.Thankfully,two men are in custody.

As bad as you perceive it to be getting,you don't know how well off you are in W4.I have recently been on a school reunion evening,class of'75 up in Preston.A real eye opener on how the town of my youth has deteriorated and how a once bustling and busy town centre is now a sad sight.This reality is everywhere in 'the Regions' as New Labour called them,when they appointed Prescott to deliver change.He helped to do that alright.
