Thank you. I’ve looked up the address on Barrowgate Road. I will drop the children’s books over there and I will also drop the rest at the Oxford shop on Turnham Green. Thank you for the suggestions

The Children's Book Project is a really worthwhile charity - the website indicates there is a drop-off point for donations on Barrowgate Road.https://childrensbookproject.co.uk/families-and-individuals/

Please donate them to Oxfam Books in Turnham Green Terrace. Or save them for the bookstall at Green Days on Acton Common in June.

Anything to do with 'Fahrenheit 451'?

This 'fire risk' nonsense was about earlier in the year but Sadiq Khan told them to stop being so stupid so the decision should have been reversed.

Is it still there? I took some really good books to Hammersmith tube station yesterday. The book shelf had disappeared and was replaced with a large Acer tree in a pot. When I asked a member of staff what has happened he told me that they had to remove the book exchanges in all stations due to safety regulations. Apparently the books are a fire risk. A fire risk??!!!

Always welcome at the Acton Central station bookswap, if you are ever over that way.
