Unbelievable that people would sink so low! Any ideas as to who, or what kind of folk might be responsible? I wonder when the thefts take place? Maybe early morning is safest for the thieves.

"If you see anyone removing plants while not wearing a CHGT hi vis vest, report this to info@chgt.org.uk with a description."lol...is this some sort of joke?

"Any ideas as to who, or what kind of folk might be responsible?" They will end up being sold at car boot sales etc, in the coming week or so. And I don't mean Chiswick, that would be dumb. But then some thieves are a bit dumb

And they might have just been doing the right thing and picking up after their dog! That would cause a furore.

I'm not sure that the use of a firearm would comply with the latest health and safety standards

Arm the parkies with an air riffle and when they see people interfering with the plants they can aim at them and hit them on the arse. That'll teach them.

Informal plant settings such as woodland may give the impression to some that it is not deliberately planted when it has been and sadly make it easier for thieves to remove plants surreptitiously. Perhaps sadly more warnings to ALL visitors that no plants shiuld be removed would make everyone aware that this happens and it shouldn't.
