Windows 11

Can anyone suggest a good local compter person able to upgrade my desk top from Windows 10 to Windows 11 please? Microsoft tells me it is ending support for Windows 10 at the end of October.

Run Windows Update, and version 11 should appear. Install Windows 11, and the process will tell you if your PC's specifications are good enough to run Windows 11. If not, it will not proceed, and 10 will stay as your operating system.

yes it is. but you can buy security updates (advisable) for a small amount, or sign up with Opatch who will be updating it. You may not be able to run Win 11 on your pc as it probably does not have a TPM2 chip. I am using windows 7 without any problems.I would be happy to upgrade except that I suspect my non-ms programs may not survive the transition.

That only means that there will be no more software updates for it. I've carried on using previous versions of Windows years after Microsoft 'stopped supporting' them.
