To be quite honest Keith I haven't, and to be quite honest I don't think I'm well enough endowed in that discipline. I'd probably need a Teach Yourself book, or attend night school. I do remember those black and yellow books, with which you could indeed teach yourself how to do just about anything you wanted, and a genuine bargain at two shillings - or perhaps better known as a florin, and eventually replaced by the current 10p coin.

'Broken English' was a great album. Emotionally raw, angry songs that felt authentically true to her experience. Haven't played it for years and just played it again.

There's a suggestion made in https://faroutmagazine.co.uk/rolling-stones-gimme-shelter-merry-clayton-story-miscarriage/that Anita Pallenberg influenced 'Gimme Shelter' which for me is the best Rolling Stones track, and is definitely in the same class as "Layla".But I do agree that Patti Boyd should be up there as well.

"Marianne Faithfull and Anita Pallenberg were the most iconic Rock star muses."Hmm. Patti Boyd inspired George Harrison to write "Something" and Eric Clapton to write "Layla". I'm not sure anything by the Rolling Stones inspired by Marianne and Anita quite matched those.
