Charlie Bigham wooden trays

I realise that this is a strange request but I was wondering what people do with the wooden trays from the meals?  I know they can be put in compost but I don't know of anyone who has any & don't just want to throw them away in general rubbish.  I have 17 of various sizes.  Does anyone have ideas or could take them off my hands?  Thank you!

that you don't want.  There is always something of intrest on there.I notice for instance that in the thread with the longest heading on here that Joy is asking for wool for twiddlemuffs for people with dementia.  If not on this thread on a previous one she explained that this did not need to be a lot of wool and also things to attach to the muffs were wanted.  So it really is that one woman's trash is another woman's treasure!So many things can be reused and have another life - despite some of the detractors.  Lord Winkelstein you are in my sights!  No one is too small to make a difference.

Today looking at one of these simple and beautifully made containers and thinking about all the Easter eggs already in the shops before the New Year; I think that these could be made into Easter baskets for those with the time, ingenuity and dexterity to do so!Thank you for making me re-look at these with a view to finding further reuse ideas.  Next time I'll try and reheat the contents in another dish.

The PM system no longer seems to work.I used to keep and refill a lot of larger baskets that were given as Christmas gifts with fancy soaps etc for raffles at one time.  Perhaps there are other  things that you could be gifted like this.

I found this:https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6291793/re-purposing-wooden-ready-meal-traysI don't buy them often (though they are one of the few ready meals we enjoy) and I have never bothered to transfer the food out of them before seeing this (ready meal being ready meal in our house) but that would leave them in a more pristine state.  I just use them in the garden.  They will eventually rot down are easy to break up further if you want to.
