Interesting times ahead. Trump is no fool, but I fear for the future of the planet. Unless there is some magic carbon capture bullet that comes to reduce the rate of global warming, things will look pretty grim in 50-100 years time, and it won’t be because of Brexit.

The list is not in order of release.They want the names of the first 3 to be released and status or wellbeing so they can notify and mobilise and organise relatives and handover in advance.Seems the right thing rather than relatives turning up in hope.

Israel are asking for the names of the 3 people who are to be released tomorrow. There is already a list of the names of about 30 hostages who will be the first to be released, which I understand has been circulating for some hours.

When I was living in Canada I noted that they held Thanksgiving on a different date to the USA. As the USA version is to celebrate the Pilgrim Fathers I asked a Canadian what they were giving thanks for. He said it was for not being part of the USA. I suspect the vast majority of Canadians would agree with that sentiment.
