Well in Chiswick, apart from the section between Goldhawk Road and Chiswick Lane which has been constructed to the original specification, the rest of it is still the “temporary” version built along the road with wands.I wonder if there any planes to change this ?https://chiswickcalendar.co.uk/work-starting-on-temporary-cycleway-9/

Great that we’ve already reached the point where the opponents of the cycle lane are campaigning for it to be improved.

The road markings need some attention but I guess the wands are staying for the emergency services.

If you look at the documents for the September 2023 Hounslow cabinet meeting there is a proposed package of additional changes for C9 including replacing wands with kerbs, changes to the junction at CHR/Heathfield Terrace, cycle and pedestrian crossing between C9 and Windmill Rd.However it also includes removal of the bus gate at Acton Lane and TfL don’t want to do that so there is a bit of an impasse and it remains to be seen what will actually go ahead.
