Has anyone had their phone screen repaired locally to their satisfaction, please, and if so where and how much did it cost?

Well it looks nice, colour is good and works well...a lot cheaper than a replacement contract phone!

Cell Guru came to the rescue, phone looks good with a lovely new Samsung screen. It's still in contract so didn't want to get another phone until the contract is up, especially as I got quite a good airtime deal. Thanks, everyone.

I found it best to buy a new phone. Argos do a Samsung for £99.99. Read the reviews, and you get updates for 2 years.

Try the tobacconists near to Collins fruit and veg stall, opposite the Catholic Church. A guy in there has a mobile phone work station and replaced my Samsung screen as well as fitting a screen protector. It was a couple of years ago but from memory he charged about +/- £70. Obviously not a factory replacement but it’s been perfect and probably saved me a few hundred £££.

You could hand it to him and he normally has it back with you the same day. Failing which there is TomTech on Uxbridge Road in West Ealing. Two minutes off the E3 route.

Thanks but the dogs aren't keen on strangers coming in so would prefer to take it to a shop. It's an older Samsung model. Good idea though.

Wholly depends on model. We use a guy called Sunny Bhattia who visits and repairs normally while you wait. His contact number is 07961 734666
