chiswick house out of control dog

To the lady with the out of control dog in the cafe this morning, I have reported you to the police for committing 3 crimes:a) having a dog without a collar in a public space. b) having a dog out of control in a public spacec) your dog assaulting meI have shared the video of you with them, so that they can identify you. I have no particular interest in getting anyone in trouble...and I did try asking you politely to keep your dog under control, but you just proceeded to verbally abuse me.Dog owners...we love you all, and your dogs. But please put collars on your dogs, please keep them on a short lead in and around the cafe, and please keep them under control. Almost all of you do, of course, for which we are all very grateful. This lady was just one of the  exceptions.

I've no idea what type of dog it was. Nothing particularly dangerous I don't think.Tempting though it is, I'm not going to post the video of the lady. I don't want to be that aggressive. I'm sure she's a nice person. Hopefully she's already gone out and bought a dog collar and a lead. I just want her to put her dog on the lead around the cafe, and keep it under control, so that it doesn't bother other people, and we can all live happily ever after.

That happens evry day to me. Different - disguasting and abusive dog owners. Unfortunately no one cares....

Well Simon that’s really bad- I’m even slightly nervous when I walk through the park now when I see enormous dogs coming towards me !

Anyone with a dog not wearing a tag with the owner's details on can be fined up to £5,000.  I'm always surprised at the number of people who don't know or don't seem to care.  And people not having dogs on the lead when walking by busy roads makes me cross.  Walking back from the vet up The Avenue last week I saw a dog off lead on the other side of the road.  Of course it promptly dashed across the road to say hello to my dog, completely ignoring it's owners'entreaties to come back and narrowly missed an oncoming car.  It dashed back across the road before I could grasp its collar.  Lucky dog and lucky road users that day...
