Garden shed dismantling, removal and erection

This may be the wrong part of the site for this but we are having great difficulty finding anyone who will actually take an interest in a job involving dismantling and removing two garden sheds and putting up a replacement.  Can anyone recommend someone for this?  Thanks.

Allotmenteers are very good at repurposing things that you might no longer consider fit for purpose.  People's time and ability and points of view differ considerably.

You could burn it.You are allowed to have a controlled fire in your garden,just tell the neighbours when.

Thanks for the thought.  Unfortunately the existing sheds are not in a state that anyone else would want either of them!

If the existing sheds are in reasonable condition, then try posting them on Freegle (www.ilovefreegle.org).  Freegle is a site where you post things you want to give away (for free) for people to come and collect.  We got rid of our one this way - just be clear that the taker needs to dismantle!  Doesn't help with putting up a replacement, but it may solve half the problem.

I think the erection is not really the problem - it’s the removal.  There are people who advertise such services but they don’t answer enquiries!

The biggest issue that you will face Rupert is finding a site that will take the treated timber from the old sheds. Does the company from whom you purchased the new shared not offer an erection service?
