Which barbers (individual or shops) are good in the Chiswick or Acton area please? Any recommendations gratefully received. TIA

I highly recommend DAVID OLDS, a masterbarber at 'Barber Special'in a bit far away Stratford Village ...very accessible by Overground train from Gunnersbury and Acton Central.He used to be at Truefitt and Hill in St James' Street ... who handle the hairdressing needs of a few Royalty! David charges less than £40 and will give you a hair experience to make you extra happy for weeks after!

Michelle's on Northfield Avenue Ealing Traditional Kurdish/Turkish barber. Not just clipper cuts but proper scissor work, wet shaves and hot towels. Umi owns it, tell him that "Mr. Nigel" recommended him. Settle back with a free tea and sweets and enjoy a great cut and being a bit pamperwd at very reasonable prices
