'We are where we are. Alleged victims should get over it and stop this never ending demand for compensation.'And would you be thinking like that if you'd been on the receiving end of tainted blood or the malicious behaviour of the Post Office. And the scandal of Windrush and Grenfell still to come? How appalling - if someone has had their life ripped to shreds, or lost someone because of wrongdoing and subsequent cover ups, they are entitled to some recompense, and no matter how much it is, it will never bring people back or completely repair lives, victims know that, but what they really want is justice and to see those responsible brought to book. Nevertheless some financial restitution to make their future more comfortable, has to be forthcoming. And frankly if this shower of a government can spend God knows who much on this cruel and misguided Rwanda plan, then they have no excuse.
