I have 50-100 spare coat hangers, all decent wood or plastic types. Any ideas where I might be able to recycle them, or find them a new home?

If no luck there perhaps The Upper Room at St Saviours in Wendell Park W12 would be interested? They do have a wish list but you never know. https://theupperroom.org.uk/We found that a care home was happy to keep some wooden ones for the rooms and plastic ones for the laundry. We started declining them from shops and always took the metal ones right back to the dry cleaners a long time ago so now thankfully have a lot fewer than we once did.

Henry ... I have a suggestion.I donate weekly to this small time Charity Shop at 90 Goldhawk Road,on the left ... 150 metres before the railway bridge. It's called BASSUAHIt helps locals and has links with Ghana.Last week I delivered a substantial clothes rail to them (two trips on the 237 bus!)They are always friendly and grateful.

You could try the numerous charity shops down Chiswick High Road. They may, of course, be inundated with clothes' hangers but it's worth a try.
