Home needed for my fish

Hey all, we are moving home and I will need to find a home for my fish as it will take me some time  to build a new one in the new house. Grass carp, gudgeon, common carp, Rudd and crucian carp. Approx 12 in all. None bigger than 6-8 inches. If anyone could take them then that would be amazing. We are moving at the start of June. Thanks

I should also add the nets keep the cats off as well, we have 2 that have appeared and just sit watching the fish. Joy you must put nets over the water if you want the fish to survive

Joy you need to put nets over the water otherwise herons will have a tasty and easy meal. We have nets over ours and the heron still appears thankfully the nets have worked. We also have waterlilies but they are not a deterrent for the clever heron.

I built a 2ft high fence around my pond to keep the heron out but he used it as a perimeter diving board..

We live in Chiswick near Fullers Brewery and have two quite large pools connected by a small waterfall, in which there are many waterlilies providing cover from herons we hope and would be very happy to provide your fish with a new home.

My pond is 3.5 feet deep and six foot long. But it’s very difficult to protect against herons. The last one stood on the covering net, pulled in all the pegs securing it, and squeezed the fish (including a three pounder ) out the sides. Came back three times to do that. I’ve now grown foliage over the top to disguise the pond.
