I think it was while I was still living in Netheravon Road that it closed and then became a rather fun Mexican joint.

It was always a laugh to drop washing powder down into the waterfall of the Coach & Horses. Those were in the days before cctv of course (and before I grew up).

Wasn't the Coach & Horses a Berni type diner? It certainly was a bright spot ...as it is today!Regarding ski-ing ... it's such a tonicit should be available on the NHS!

I remember it well.  That pub was one of the factors that first attracted me to Chiswick - so I moved to a flat in Netheravon Road.

The refit to outdo any local pub refit had to be the Coach & Horses.(Now Arrow Electrical)Situated on the corner of Netheravon Road is used to be a classic old time boozer unchanged since built in in the late eighteen hundreds.Sometime in the 70's or early 80's everything was ripped out  to create a real live two story waterfall cascading into its own mimi lake surrounded by intimate cave like alcoves for dining and drinking.Outside the fascia and all the windows were covered in brightly painted plastic  panels in a chevron design. Dress code: kipper tie, mohair suit with wide lapels or white jean jacket flared jeans and Chelsea bootsBack in the day we liked to sock it to them man!

Pub Closed Monday 22nd April - Sunday 5th May for some TLCWe have temporarily shut our doors so we can give our lovely pub a well deserved refresh. We will be closed from Monday 22nd April, reopening 2 weeks later on Sunday 5th May.
