Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert Founder.

I am beginning to wonder whether M.S.E. founder Martin Lewis is  actively involved with the biggest fraud in British criminal history. He allegedly received £3 million damages from Fakebook more than 5 years ago because Fakebook had illegally used his name and image to scam people out of billions of pounds with the Bitcoin scam. Lewis claimed he gave the £3 million to charity. Why dozens of times ,every day over the past 5 years has Lewis allowed Fakebook to carry on using his image and name to continue the scam?

Fakebook has smeared the reputation of Martin Lewis and for the past 5 years he hasn't applied to the courts to sue Fakebook for using his name and image to scam many millions from the gullible. WHY? He didn't even need to sue Fakebook 5 years ago, he just threatened to do so and they gave him £3  million which he gave to a charity which was supposed to stop the scams. I would suggest that £3 million was wasted as the problem has greatly escalated. Regarding my original post which I cannot edit. Neil, Martin Lewis is unlikely to bother tosue you which you are no doubt counting on but if he did think about it I think he would have a good case for libel.  He has saved people thousands of pounds and courageously stood up against incompetent governments thereby making it pretty certain he won't be on any honours list despite his fantastic service to the community. You are smearing his reputation in your idle speculation.

I have many times reported fake ads to Facebook. As crazy as it seems they reply that the fake ads do not break their community standards. And the rest,i see martin lewis backing a share dealing app that makes you on average 1k a month from 10k investment. It was endorsed by elon musk in the same video. You could see it was made using AI Im not sure you can sue facebook if it appeared on the platform and then was removed upon request very quickly or was removed quick enough by the platform anything pops up on. The one i see was on Youtube. With AI it could be a loosing battle to stop whoever,but questions if the platform dont act quick enough. Loads of fake AI vidoes flying around

Martin didn't have an issue beating £3 million out of Fakebook. It's no witch hunt. He could easily take out a High Court writ against Fakebook.

The cost and risks involved in such an action could be prohibitive for any individual against someone like Meta.What he does do in his programmes and his media accounts is to disclaim any connection with these adverts on facebook etc. Not sure without great financial risk to himself what else he can do.Why the witch hunt on Martin Lewis? Have you run out of unsolved murders in Hammersmith?

He did not receive any money from facebook.He withdrew his legal action after facebook offered to pay £3m to his nominated charity.Facebook paid this direct to said charity.Why must you spread misinformation about someone in the same way as fakebook ??Maybe Lewis should come for you for your libellous claims.

He is not just a minnow. He is a big fish with power at his elbow. He has already done a deal with Fakebook 5 years ago worth £3 million pounds which apparently was donated to a charity which allegedly stops scams. That is just one big joke that has accomplished nothing. Why hasn't Martin Lewis sued Fakebook again?

What do you expect him to do? He is one man against a formidable and massive corporation.  If that fine didn't stop them it looks like not much else will.  He has warned the public repeatedly about it. Short of going and shooting the entire Facebook staff which I don't think he would want to do I am not sure what else you think he should do.

Deep fake scams such as this, created using AI, are rife on the internet. You'd have to be rather naive to fall for them - however clever the voice faking and lip-synching, there's usually something which gives the game away. In any case, Martin Lewis has gone out of his way to warn about them. I'm not sure what your beef is with him.
