EVRI missing package delivery text scam

Take care:The EVRI missing package delivery text scam involves fraudulent text messages sent to UK phone numbers claiming a package is awaiting delivery but additional information, like an address or tracking number, is missing. The message includes a link to submit your details but it leads to a fake website impersonating the real EVRI site. Scammers use this tactic to steal personal information and money from victims.

Most of us nowadays are expecting some kind of delivery.. hence the effectiveness of the scam.

Just tap on the (i) info button and it'll give you details of who sent it - usually, it's an email address that doesn't correspond to anything official, then just tap block number/email.

Thanks for your info. I regularly get the one about my car being untaxed. The clue, it is marked, Sent from I phone.
