Should the scones be Vegan? I don't know, but it seems to have caused a lot of controversy!

Agree about the properties, think they did start selling some off to be restored or rebuilt.

Was this an April 1st joke?My sister used to run a cafe and the scones were freshly made every day and if not sold were thrown to the gulls.

I usually find N.T. cafe items to be good quality. A couple of weeks ago, however, I had the driest scone ever at a property it's better not to name. This could be the reason although I don't remember there being any choice of scone.

You can tell. I bought a vegan one by mistake not NT. I said it tasted a bit bland to my wife, she said of course you took a vegan one.

I wonder if anyone would actually realise that they are made with margarine and not butter in a blind tasting.
