flight path changes

I'm just reading that the flight paths are likely to change. There is a proposal under discussion. Does anyone know what the possible implications might be for Grove Park?The map I'm looking at (in the Richmond park magazine) suggests that the arrival tracks will be curved, which makes me a little hopeful we might get fewer planes overhead.

That is the consultation about Heathrow's Noise Action Plan.The flight path changes are being developed under the CAA airspace change process. The proposal page is at https://airspacechange.caa.co.uk/PublicProposalArea?pID=386There are still a myriad of options being talked about and the progress has been dealt a blow by Heathrow not passing through the latest gateway with the CAA arguing that there were issues with the way Heathrow had sifted the options, possibly not in line with how they had initially said they would do this. The approach seemed to have ruled a route over Richmond Park back into play when indications had been given earlier that it had been rejected.I suspect the public consultation on changes is at least 12 to 18 months away and implementation will be unlikely before 2029.

It's been under discussion since 2019!So many proposals and contra-proposals that it is difficult to determine which 'plans' are anything more than paper exercises.
