Gunnersbury used to be a fantastic park,it had the best pitch and putt course you could ever see,lovely boating and fishing lakes,tennis courts,a bowling green and multiple football pitches which were well used,and free parking.I doubt that what is there now and whatever else is being proposed to be built could go anywhere near competing with that.

i get the song as it used to be a restful place to visit where you couldunwind, however it had to change to survive.

It is quite impressive but I can't really agree with the sentiment. The park is steadily improving and events must help and it is good that a wider range of people are coming to visit. I wish they would bring back the Mela.
