Grid Lock today A4, King Street, GHRoad, Chiswick Lane CHR

Hi All, It would appear that the terrible traffic congestion today may be caused by the temporary traffic light phasing at the junction of Chiswick Lane and CHR. I just wondered if anyone has any more information from Hounslow as to if the phasing will be adjusted and how long the works (whatever they are) will take. Thank you in advance

They got pretty jammed up at the top of TGT - the motorbike outriders had to dismount and direct traffic out of the way!

Steve, the human rights of motorists are at stake here. This is a serious matter. Perhaps the local Councillors should insist that the Council hold an open and public consultation which can be responded to by anybody no matter where they live. This consultation can then be shared by all the One groups and across Facebook groups like Stop the Ulez. Then if more people say they want the bollards removed at Beverley Road than want them. to stay then the Council should be held to a binding referendum on the matter and free the motorists of Surrey to drive through Homefield, Airedale and Netheravon on their way to Westfield.Social justice for all motorists.

Yeah, right :) Never going to happen. I don't think rat running in residential streets is part of LBH's traffic management strategy ....

Yup, I saw the King's convoy headed into town on King Street.

They were OK around 4.30pm.Did anyone else see The King's convoy scythe it's way through this morning? No problem even through heavy congestion.

They should probably remove the bollards from Beverley Rd during these roadworks to create a release valve for all the traffic building up on CHR and Chiswick Lane and bring some social justice to the doorsteps of the residents of  Homefield, Airedale and Netheravon.

When I came to work at 7am the temporary lights were malfunctioning.  All of them were permanently on red!  I'm really hoping they're now fixed - does anyone know?
