Car Dealerships

Can anyone recommend a decent secondhand car dealership locally please? Needs to be one that has cars on site so I can test drive.

Car Care Ealing on Northfields Avenue W13 0208 579 2969 is really helpful and have cars to look at / try out. I've had lots of used cars from them over the years. Go in and speak to them I ususally speak to Pete/Daniel or Alan and let them know what you're looking for re size, dogs, easy too park etc

I bought my Polo from Car Giant. Pretty sure it's not the cheapest but for me having a fixed price (there is no haggling) and I could research their stock online was a bonus. They give you a bit of a sell on finance and extras which you can just ignore.I really didn't want to stand around kicking tyres and sucking my teeth. I have a car as a necessity I use it as little as possible and if I'd had an viable alternative at that time would have happily been car free.

The Autotrader website is quite handy as you can filter your search by various factors, such as location, price, engine size, fuel, gearbox, ULEZ, etc.  You could take trip to Car Giant in Old Oak to see what they’ve got, but their huge selection can be overwhelming if you don’t quite know what you want.

Thanks, very useful.  I really need to chat to some knowledgeable dealers about what would be best - I need an automatic, not too high mileage, around 2-4 years old, light to park as with a back problem a heavy steering wheel is difficult,  big enough for dogs (4/5 door) but not too big to be able to park reasonably easily - not sure what make of car would be best for all that. Maybe I will phone a few and see if I can find someone helpful!

Have a look at the Autotrader website to narrow down what nearby dealers have got in stock to save visiting them all on the off chance. Our local big branded showrooms will only have expensive ‘new’ S/H cars.  We recently tracked down what we wanted by using this website and then it was worth driving to have a look at them. Some dealers offered to bring the car to us so we could look at it.

In Chiswick Gunnersbury ward: Citroen, Honda, MG, Peugeot, Porsche, Volvo all with cars on their premises.

There are many in Brentford on the GWR - Mercedes, Audi, Mini, BMW, VW, Kia. Also Stellantis (Peugeot, Citroen, DS and probably others) at Chiswick Roundabout, Honda in Power Road, Volvo also. Go to Car Giant. It is probably a good idea to know the make you are interested in beforehand as it is huge.
