In their infinite wisdom have removed the bins from the beginning of the towpath at Strand on the Green - no doubt a pile of poo bags will appear ……

I guess thanks to Cllr Lambert for getting action from Hounslow Highways. Let's hope this bin does not suffer the same fate.

The bin (which was burnt out overnight on Saturday 20th January) has been replaced.

I went down there this afternoon to see what had happened. There are 3 large bins at the Western end (probably ample or excessive) and none at the Eastern end. There used to be one where there is now a local map of the Strand area. I could see no evidence of a fire.I agree a bin is needed there and I have asked Hounslow Highways to install one and yes, I counted about 6 of the offending bags

Well, actually some idiot(s) burned the bin down. ( I`ve seen the remains) HC failed to replace it though.
