Good call Bob. There is free parking at the Duck and Ball. The venue is closed Monday to Friday 3pm so the whole pub can be hired. Very good for the numbers quoted.

Jim, I thought you may have mentioned the free parking in and in the vicinity of the Duck and Ball. I attended a wake there a couple of years ago and the service and food was superb.

The Crown (Pissarro what was) has a section at the back that can be curtained off or a separate room for smaller gatherings. Similarly the Duke of Sussex has a separate ‘back room’, as does the Barley Mow (now The Lamb)

Clayton Hotel has various function rooms. Crown & Anchor has an upstairs room but you need not to clash with Six Nations!George IV has a large back room but also I think reflected in their hire rates.
