Found kitten - Heathfield Gardens

Hello,At around 15:40 hours this afternoon (16/01/24) I found a very scared little kitten running along the pavement around Heathfield Gardens. I knocked on a few doors along the road to see if it belonged to anyone, but no one seemed to know who it belonged to unfortunately.So, if you have returned home and discovered that your kitten has re-enacted the Great Escape, or know someone that has lost a kitten in the neighbourhood, I have taken it to Wolfe’s Vets on Chiswick High Road who will look after it until its rightful owner can hopefully be found. Bit harsh, Juliet.  Kittens can and do escape.  Only needs a visitor not closing the front door properly for example or leaving a window open by mistake and kitten scarpers.  My nightmare.

No, nothing yet Gail. I contacted the vet’s yesterday to see whether the owner had been in touch and no one has come forward as yet despite various social media appeals.

Have you put notices up around where the kitten was found saying that it is safe with the vet? Not everyone reads this forum.I would be frantic if I had lost a young kitten.
