Copper kettle - Bedford corner

Little bit of a long shot - does anyone remember the gingerbread men that Copper kettle on Bedford corner used to serve. They were more cakey than most gingerbread men and I am wondering if anyone knows of the recipe or a similar one?! TIA!

They were, IIRC and casting my mind way back, like Yorkshire parkin and there are loads of recipes for that online.
