Thames Road

I have someone coming to see me tomorrow in Grove Park, they'll be coming from near Richmond.  I believe there's awful traffic at the moment getting to Chiswick Bridge on the south side. Is it safe for them to go over Kew Bridge and along Thames Road to Sutton Court Road?I'd be grateful for any information. Thanks.

In theory no, in reality yes. There are no inforcement cameras there. If there happens be a mobile one, your friend needs to stop and access one of the shops on Strand on the Green, which is allowed. Alternatively, your friend can go all the way to the A4, then  access Sutton Court Road via the back of the Porsche garage.
