Police shoplifting plan in action

Actually saw two policemen catch a shoplifter who was legging it down Linden Gardens, Waitrose bag in hand.Just think how much more crime might have been prevented if the police station hadn't been shut and we had the same police presence over the last few years.

The police might not having been walking the streets but an open Chiswick Police Station with police going in and out and police cars outside showed a presence to protect.You don't think I'm thinking twice before shoplifting on CHR?

Just wondering if the poorer areas of the borough are getting the same increased police presenc.What do you reckon? CCTV was supposed to help lower crime and identify perps,but instead it has replaced police and crime has increased the more the rich/poor gap has widened.

Make no jotM&S got held up when a police station existed.Thats directly opposite and made off in a getaway car under fishers laneJust think of all those town and cities who have a police station. They clearly have no shop lifting. I think notIn fact you might as well check out all the reported crime when we did have a police station.When I and someone else chased down 2 guys snatching a ladies money at cashpoint.Police station existed,caught and given a police cautionOnly thing that has increased is shop lifting but that has increased everywhere. Drug dealing has always existed.

The scale we're seeing now is due to societal change, not because the police station shut up shop.

With some it's an illness we have heard of wealthy people shoplifting.
