Parking: Disaster looms!

So Serco are going to ditch the enforcement contract! That's awful! Ordinary people will be able to drive to the shops or to restaurants, and park outside their own homes unhindered! The council will lose out on vital revenue. Where will it all end??

A good opportunity for drivers to be reminded of how parking controls are actually designed for them and to their benefit. Something that we've seen with every CPZ when the initial rage turns to delight at being able to park near your house.

Given what is going on in the world right now I couldn’t care less about Hounslow’s appallingly mismanagement. Decent people will still pay to park, chancers in life are just that.
