The book swop cabinet outside the Bus Depot.

A gentle activity seems to operate well outside the Stamford Brook Bus Depot.It's in contrast to the battles and abuse on this Forum.Open the book cabinet, donate a book / books no longer needed... swop if you need too.. and get a feel good jab observing the turnover.Travel and childrens books aplenty ...and one or two specials!

I’ve not seen this particular library, Jim, but I agree - such things are a joy and can restore one’s faith in human nature.And may I give a shout-out for the vast collection of donated books related to film and visual art more generally that can be found in the cafeteria of the ActOne cinema. It’s amazing.  Next time you plan to see a film there, arrive early so you have time for a browse.

Not sure if it's still there but there used to be a book swap bookcase at Stamford Bridge station.

The book swap at Stamford Brook Tube station is no longer there.  The one outside Villa Gregiano often has a lot of Italian books.

There is a really busy one on the concourse at Northfields Station, at it's peak there are at least 200 books there.There is also one at West Ealing Elizabeth Line station.

There's a small one mounted on a garden wall in Dale Street.
