Agressive & abusive- 3 men in van cleaning front of houses
Not sure if anyone has had the same encounter. 3 men in a van knocking on doors asking to clean & seal the paving on the front of the houses, turned very aggressive and abusive. 1 of them claimed he’d cleaned other houses on the street and had some leftover products and would do a good deal. I asked them to provide me with a quote first. Next thing I know they knock on my door having started 'cleaning' what looked like water on the floor and quoted me over £1250. They became very aggressive and abusive for refusing to pay them, calling me a con. Then asked me for £350 if I gave the rest of the street a good recommendation. If you know of people in other streets please let them know. I regret not paying more attention to catch the name of the company. Please be careful with what you agree to if they knock on your doors.
