I phone and radiation

I see sales of new I phones were stopped in France due to radiation fears. A software update is now being rolled out for French phones only. Germany and the Netherlands are now looking into the situation. Just shows what our goverment thinks of health issues.

A doddle on the A53. Go to Settings and tap Connections. Next, select Mobile networks. From there, tap Network mode to select which network you want to connect to and turn off 5G. Also remember to turn it off in Power Saving.None of this however prevents your local base stations from transmitting in 5G and simply dropping back to 4G for data and 3G for voice.

What good timing, Andrew. I bought a new Samsung A53 phone for £251.00 from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, and I applied to Smarty on Monday of this week for the 16GB £8 monthly plan. My mate's iPhone 12 would scramble the coding on the magnetic strip hotel of his room key. No such problem with Androids.Very frustrating for him having to keep going back to reception to have his key reprogrammed.It was a French hotel chain.

Just to add, if ICNIRP is so corrupt why hasn't a single government body or one of the very well funded lobby groups launched either a government backed enquiry let alone a series of suits to expose this supposed corruption. Responses alluding to the industry being in control of a cabal or flat earth occupying purple lizards will be par for the course and treated as seriously as those who cite them

Yes The Stewart report, extensively peer reviewed unlike the overwhelming majority of sources since.Do feel free to cite a peer reviewed, by which I mean not from lunatic fringe groups like the Salzburg report oft cited but actually prepared by a town clerk with no scientific background.ICNIRP is far from 'discredited' save by those with a VERY limited understanding of mobile communications. Those who actually understand will happily and rightly inform you that there are higher levels of NIR from a poorly screened vacuum cleaner than from a mobile. But it doesn't fit the tinhat narrative.

N V Brooks - I believe you re referring to the Stewart Report from 2000 which contained pearls of wisdom such as 'move the phone away from your body' etc. Our govt still refers to this report despite 1000's of studies done in the decades since that show damage occurring well below the safety exposure guidelines Of the discredited ICNIRP you mention. If anyone wants to know how they came to be discredited there s a wealth of information available but one might start with 'The Internet Commission on Non Ionizing Radiation Protection,Conflicts of Interest, Corporate Capture by Klaus Buchner & Michele Rivasi. Corporate capture is a gentler way of saying 'bribery'.

Better yet, we can start selling the radiation harmonisation stickers that became popular among certain groups who swallowed, hook,line and sinker, the idiotic musings of the Salzburg milliwatt group and the more extreme rubbish from members of the Karolinska Institute. Four, 20p coin sized, plastic stickers sometimes with a little copper coil embedded, which 'harmonised' your phone to the environment and 'protected" you from all mobile phone radiation.A bargain at £20.00 but they did  offer free UK postage 🤣 .

Yes I do as I worked with the ICNIRP subject matter expert group in promoting the safe levels. Did you? I don't remember you if you did!  Were you a member of the National Radiological Protection Board which set up Independent Expert Group on Mobile Phones (IEGMP) which waschaired by Sir William Stewart. Hi Nicholas. There is a very good organisation looking at this issue amongst others in south west London, their campaign website is 5Ginmerton.com  I attended one of their meetings in Wimbledon this year where they did a demonstration of i phone radiation recorded by an EMF meter showing the differences in readings taken from an i phone  in both on and off mode. They have occasional events which are free to attend and no membership required. Hope this is helpful.
