A supermarket in France is labelling foods that have diminished in size but the price has remained the same. I wonder if our supermarkets will follow?

It’s been widespread here for ages. Two recent ones I’ve noticed are Body Shop shower gel and Pizza Express supermarket pizzas. Google will show you many others you may not have noticed.
