Thank you for your informative responses.At the time the gentleman moved into a hospice for extra care...an ex-Chiswick lady was the CEO of Hospice UK.She is a  very capable lady who once stood as a Conservative candidate in a local election in Brentford but failed!She has since been headhunted to a top NHS job
