RIP Sixto Diaz Rodriguez

A couple of days ago I heard this obituary and I remember finding this a fascinating story several years ago.He was American-Mexican and the subject of the film Searching for Sugarman and was it was said as famous in South Africa as The Rolling Stones and Bob Dylan.  Only he knew nothing about this.https://www.theguardian.com/music/2023/aug/10/rodriguez-obituary

If you've not seen it, do watch the amazing award winning documentary "Searching for Sugarman" which you can get on DVD. Fascinating, and his music is such a phenomenal discovery.
