Delivery jobs?

Hello, I am wondering if anyone in the W4 area is aware of delivery jobs available nearby, it would be extra great if the locations provide a moped. Just a lad looking for a job, Thanks.

Don't know about providing a moped but companies like Ocado Zoom provide pedal powered delivery vehicles. Their depot is on Stirling Road.

I'd check whether these companies actually 'provide' delivery vehicles, and if they do, whether they expect you to pay to 'hire' them.  Deliveroo adverts seem to suggest you provide your own transport, while delivery mopeds cost about £50 a week to rent and insure.  A trip to the Ocado depot might provide an opportunity to chat to some waiting delivery people and find out what the deal is.

If you use your own moped for delivery jobs, expect to pay a high insurance premium.

I think insurance is particularly costly, or non-existent,  as, from the preponderance of L-plates, many delivery moped drivers haven’t passed their driving test. I have to say I’m surprised that driving mopeds ‘commercially’ while on L-plates is allowed. Something to be looked at, maybe, together with the use of monster high-powered electric ‘bicycles’.

Domino's always have the same bikes outside their place in Chiswick. Just speak to the manager easy. The insurance premiums should be very high because most of the drivers/riders are young & inexperienced or have never had basic lessons and often ride/drive recklessly. I questioned one a while back because he nearly hit somebody on a crossing and he got all aggressive. As a test passed motorcyclist and passed 30yrs ago, I see how bad they ride/drive.
