The Summer 2023 Edition of the "Hounslow Matters" magazine.

The new issue of the Council's Magazine arrived on my doormat today.It's circulated to some 160,000 homesin the Borough.It's well printed etc with lots of articles and images and looks good.However there was no mention of CHISWICK except in a sentence  about Lime Bikes.Is Chiswick really a backwater in the Council's eyes?

I refer you to page 27 titled;IMPROVED WEED REMOVAL PROGRAMME.I don't know how Cllr Guy Lambert has the nerve to claim this.I get the fact we don't want to use chemicals but the weeds are completely out of control in parts of Chiswick. My road is infested with some four feet tall. The article claims "ward based street cleanse" happens fortnightly which "includes low level wedding in the summer".Which summer would that be? 2004?I have, along with other residents, reported this to Fix my Street but no response.Looking at the weeds removal programme my street is not even  mentioned. The "service" is not good enough by a very long chalk! If your road is suffering report it  to Fix my Street and put pressure on the Council to do the job you pay good money for.
