So, so sorry to hear the sad news that Bob has passed away at a relatively young age. He was L.B. Hounslow's Chief Executive for some years and one of the nicest, knowledgeable and approachable people I ever dealt with as a Councillor. I remember going to a garden party at Buckingham Palace with Bob and his (then) wife Ann and what a beautiful day we had. Over the years his has been the calm and authoritative opinion on many political issues, a wonderful public servant and a friend, he will be missed so much.
