Tabard:  another excellent production

Last week A Critical Stage (cried twice) and this week Dal Segno or Friday Night at the Gig (cast of eight blokes and a woman who plays four roles - almost outnumbering the Sat mat audience).   Both productions of a  high standard in every way and really enjoyable.    Support this brave local theatre (how on earth do they make any money?) - they seem to be on a roll.   We're lucky to have them.   Book now!

Very much enjoyed the current production at The Tabard - Dal Segno.If you can get along before it finishes I'd recommend it.Pub downstairs and next to E3 & 94 bus stops. What more can you ask.

Local charity Maverick Theatre are putting on The Birth of Frankenstein at the Tabard for one night only before it goes to the  Edinburgh Festival. Sunday 30 July at 6pm. For anyone who saw Winston and David there last year, it’s written by the same playwright, Robert Lloyd George. The artistic director Nick Hennegan promises to buy anyone who comes along a beer but probably will be found hiding under the bar! Sarah and Simon at The Tabard are working really hard to provide us with a home for great entertainment, well done them.
