Setting off fireworks off at 10.50pm. Waking everyone up and scaring everyone's pets.

Also seems to be parties going on till 3am around this area. The fireworks were pretty annoying last night.Seems everyone is entitled to do what they like, when they like?

"Woken up at 10:30".What do you mean that you weren't either watching Guns N' Roses or grooving to Fatboy Slim from Glasto?

Asleep at 10.50 on a Friday night?

It's end of exams for a lot of schools hence the parties and fireworks. Oh and by the way ... woken up at 10.30?

Or could it be St John's Day celebrations? Many countries celebrate with bonfires and fireworks, but mostly on St John's eve. The French however celebrate on the day itself (24 June).

Reasonable people don't mind others having a garden party and enjoying the summer but till 3am on a weekday is taking the piss.
Basil Finnis ● 1181d
It is but so long as it’s a one off let people celebrate or move to the country ha!

Fun Police about.

Antisocial noise particularly affects sick and disabled people, who may need to sleep much more than average.

Nothing to do with fun police! You're in a built up residential area, shouting and screaming while knocking out heavy bass tunes until 3am on a weekday isn't cool. Wankers

That’s the price we all pay living in a city, as I say so long as it is on a rare occasion relax and let people have their fun. Gosh be happy life is short so don’t get so worked up over a party not worth it night night
Jayne Thorburn ● 1180d
The op mentions nothing about noise until 3am.
Keith Iddon ● 1180d
But Basil does mention 3am parties in the same area.
