Information for anyone needing to renew their UK passport. I applied online 5 days ago and my new passport arrived today, so it was very quick.

I think it's fine so long as you can apply online, though I always renew mine in winter when it's quiet.

I renewed my passport about 8-9 weeks agao and the next day was told on the news they were going on strike for 5 weeks. I got it about 6 weeks later.Think you were lucky because i was thinking about the back log once they stopped striking

I dont care if its pink,as long as it does it job But some love hanging onto a story of the past. Oh yes,some just cant sleep well still.
