Old story about Boris Johnson moving to Chiswick resurfaces
Something rang a bell when I saw some reports on Twitter including a news item on the Chiswick Calendar about Boris Johnson possibly moving to the area.Then I remembered I had posted about this on the forum over six months ago. There was no substance to the rumour then and there is even less now - Johnson has just spent £3.8million on a large house in Henley, even with the preposterous amount of money he is being paid for public speaking, he won't have the spare cash to pay for a house in Bedford Park.I can't find any other source for this story other than the original rumour that was going around in 2022 so it is interesting only in that it demonstrates how misinformation can linger and spread online. To save anyone the bother of pointing this out, part of the responsibility for this lies with me for highlighting the nonsense in the first place.
