Wembley - FA CUP FINAL - Travel Advice

Hello - I'm heading to Wembley on Saturday for the FA Cup final. I'm trying to plan the best route from W4; however, i notice there are tube closures. Can anyone reccomened the best way to get to/from Wembley?

With tube and rail strikes planned to create disruption, and Stop Oil anoraks intent on blocking the routes to Wembley Way I would seriously listen to the advice given from a wise Irishman:"If I were you Sir I wouldn't start my journey from here".

Apparently there replacement buses.Have you actually studied www.tfl.gov.uk?  It has been updated to show routes with more or less walking now as well as steps or no steps.  There is also a new app if you use apps.

Circle from Hammersmith to Baker St then Met to Wembley Park or overground from South Acton or Gunnersbury to Willesden Junction then Jubilee to Wembley Central.

There is bicycle parking under the stadium."Bicycle parking is available on street level (B2) in the north east corner of the stadium."

There is but the park is small and it's £5.00 (still far better than the £40 oficial car park charge).

When did they introduce the £5 charge? There's no mention on their website and there are probably other places to lock them nearby foc!

Might take some time but possibly a 207 to Ealing Hosital then a 92 which terminates at the hospital and will drop you outside Wembley stadium.

the best option is the 440 bus - numerous stops in Chiswick.  And even if it doesn't go as far as Wembley on the day it also stops at Stonebridge park from where you can either tube, walk or bus it the final bit

My normal favoured route to Wembley is Piccadily line to Alperton, and the bus from there. With the tube closures this weekend you'll need to get yourself to Acton Town first to go that route.
