Anti-social behaviour
Strand on the Green Association is aware of a group of youths who have been violently kicking people’s front doors over the last two weekends. They were observed on Thames Road on Sunday 16 April mid-afternoon and on Saturday 22 April at approximately 9pm. We have reported these incidents to the police via 101 and also contacted the Chiswick Riverside police and provided them with video footage. There are about 6 or 7 youths, aged 14-16, one on a bike and one on a scooter.It seems this a "thing" from TikTok called the "heartbeat' challenge and it seems to be going on in other places: see https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11826671/amp/TikTok-heartbeat-challenge-craze-sees-yobs-bashing-doors-London.html If you have experienced this we would recommend informing the local police by emailing them at ChiswickRiverside@met.police.uk.
